Inauguration of PES Student Chapter at IEEE-VBIT SB.
With nearly 82 student members and 2 professional members, IEEE-VBIT SB has initiated the PES student chapter at the VBIT campus on 6th August 2011. Technical empowerment of all the students being our prime motto the student chapter was inaugurated with a grand inauguration function where all the PES/IAS/PELS joint chapter IEEE Hyderabad section executive members were invited and two interactive lecture programs were organized. The inaugural started with a briefing of our SB and its PES Student chapter, its goals and memberships to the audience followed by Speech by our dignitaries of event Mr.N.Goutham Rao (Chairman VBIT), Dr.C.R.N.Sarma (IEEE VBIT Branch counselor), T.R.Rajagopalan (PES/IAS/PELS joint chapter chairman),S.Apparao (PES/IAS/PELS joint chapter secretary),Mithun M.Bhaskar(Nominated member IEEE-Hyderabad section),Chief Guest R.Kannan(SMIEEE). Followed by inaugurating our PES Student chapter, the first among 120 colleges in Hyderabad section and a windmill prototype model made by our students under guidance of Mr.K.V.Rao.
