  1. Mr. Yashwanth Siripragada of CSE department has won 'Upsilon Pi Epsilon' award in the year 2016.
     
  2.  Ms. Akshita Gulati of  IT Depatment received “Richard E Merwin Student Scholarship Award”  in the year 2016. 

  3.  WIE – AG, IEEE – VBIT SB won “The 2015 WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of the Year Award”

  4.  Received “IEEE Regional Exemplary Student Award’’ for the year 2014 – 15.

  5.  Mr. Lokesh Kumar has won 2nd place in “My COMSOC video” contest conducted in the year 2013.

  6.  Encouraged with "Special Appreciation" by IEEE Hyderabad Section in the year 2012.

  7.  Awarded "Darrel chong Student Activity Award(Gold)" for the year 2011.
  8.   Awarded as “THE VIBRANT STUDENT BRANCH” in the Hyderabad Section for the year 2010.
  9.  Awarded as “OUTSTANDING STUDENT BRANCH” in the Hyderabad Section for the year 2010.
  10.  Student Branch Members from our SB won the First Prize in “All India student Project contest-2008” for their project ‘Vehicle Positioning and Navigation SystemUsing GPS and GSM by Mr.Vamshi Krishna,Sri Ram Sharma,Y.LavaKumar & Srihari which was hosted by IEEE-Hyderabad Section at Mekester Auditorium ,O.U Campus.

  11. Mr.Karthik Siddavaram, IEEE-VBIT SB Chair has been selected as “Microsoft Student Partner” in the year 2010.

  12. Mr.Karthik Siddavaram - Section student representative 2010 is from our SB.

  13. Mr.Chaitanya Kumar Shetti won 4th best in “MGM Award” in the year 2010.

  14. Students from our SB were Awarded Certificates for “Outstanding Volunteering Services for the year 2010” during SSC. Our Student Branch has been receiving these volunteering certificates since 2008.

  15. Stood at 13th place in the R-10 website competition.

  16.  Mr.Chaitanya Kumar Shetti won award of 100$ towards “IEEE-Focus groups 2009”.

  17. Mr.Chaitanya Kumar Shetti won 9th best in “MGM Award” in the year 2009.

  18. Publicity by E-Notice and E-Conference mails for the event Xylyx which went to the entire IEEE member's in R-10.

  19.  Appreciations by R-10 and R-1 for using E-Notice and E-conference Mail's.
